Done well, it reaches places that talk alone cannot.
It asks something real of the person who guides it: clinical rigour and deep empathy held together in the same hands.
This training is built for that combination: the science that keeps people safe, and the presence that lets genuine transformation unfold.
You will learn to hold space with skill, humility, and care, so the people who trust you can meet themselves more fully and come home to their own bodies.
This is for coaches, therapists, healers, and wellness professionals, and for those who simply feel called to breathwork and want to do it properly.
If you want to guide others through breath with confidence, safety, and depth, you are in the right place.

Recognised training. On completion you're eligible to register as a professional member with both the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance and the International Breathwork Foundation.

You learn to work safely with whatever arises, holding space for big experiences without overwhelming or retraumatising, and knowing your scope.
Grounded in polyvagal theory, neuroscience, and somatic psychology, so your facilitation rests on real understanding rather than guesswork.
You leave equipped to build a sustainable, ethical practice, with the tools to actually launch and grow your work in the world.
Mentorship, supervision, and a genuine community walk with you through the training and beyond graduation.
Twelve modules take you from your first baseline breath measures to a fully-formed facilitator identity, each with its own theme, delivered through self-paced material and live masterclasses.
Foundations, history & the JTB approach.
What breathwork is and isn't, where it sits in a living lineage, the three dimensions of breath, and your first baseline measures. You begin the daily practice and start holding a facilitator identity from day one.
The disowned self & psychological integration.
Before holding space for others, you meet your own shadow, the parts you've suppressed or hidden. One of the most personally confronting modules, and the ground all real facilitation grows from.
Polyvagal theory, co-regulation & the window of tolerance.
Read nervous-system states in yourself and others, learn why your regulated presence matters more than any technique, and keep clients inside their window of tolerance.
Physiology, biochemistry, brainwave states & non-ordinary states.
What actually happens in the body and brain during connected breathing: CO2 tolerance and the Bohr effect, measurable brain states, and the territory of non-ordinary states. The science that gives you real credibility.
Attunement, safety, consent, ethics & holding space.
The pivot into client work, where supervised practice begins. Presence as the container, ongoing consent and invitational language, a working ethics framework, and the six-phase session arc. You facilitate your first short session here.
Tech, session design & the full toolkit.
Build a repeatable online 1:1 practice: setup, full session flow and timings, and the complete down-regulation toolkit. You leave with a client take-home toolkit and the reassurance that presence matters more than perfection.
Breath analysis, movement, sound, touch & the Five Character Structures.
The richest facilitation module. Read breath patterns like a language, work with proximity, movement, sound and consented touch, and hold the complete map of the Five Character Structures.
Working safely with what arises, and knowing when to refer.
The safety cornerstone. Hold space for trauma without retraumatising, keep clear boundaries, understand your scope, and know the difference between what you can hold and when to refer.
Group dynamics, relational work & energetic hygiene.
Your very own 1:1 to group. Track the collective field while staying attuned to individuals, set strong agreements, an introduction to couples work, and the energy-clearing practices that keep a facilitator sustainable.
Session architecture, population design & polarity.
Move from following structure to designing your own. Read a room and adapt in real time, design around theme, arc and music, and work with polarity and population-specific design. The shift from competent to artful.
Building a sustainable, ethical practice.
Turn your skill into a livelihood without becoming a salesperson. Examine your money beliefs, sell the result rather than the process, price for value while building in accessibility, and grow through referral and community.
Consolidating the journey & stepping forward.
The final module before the Galway intensive. Nothing new is added, instead you land everything you've learned, consolidate your skills, and step forward as a facilitator. Embodiment over information.
Alongside the core curriculum, your training includes twelve live somatic skills sessions with our support trainer, Nicola Herd. Every second week you slow right down and let the work land in the body, a dedicated space to integrate, embody, and build the felt sense that underpins genuinely good facilitation, before moving on to the next module.
This training is for you if you're...
It's probably not for you if you...
